Danny Ceisler (rhymes with “Chrysler”) is the Sheriff of Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
Since taking office, Danny terminated his predecessor’s partnership with ICE, substantially increased efforts to protect victims of domestic violence, and built a community policing program aimed at addressing crime caused by addiction and mental illness.
Prior to his election, Danny served as an intelligence officer in the U.S. Army, earning a Bronze Star while serving with a Special Operations Counterterrorism Task Force in Afghanistan and later served on three Crisis Management Teams at the Pentagon.
A graduate of Temple Law, Danny spent years as a trial attorney handling high-stakes litigation on behalf of victims in their fight for justice. Danny notably led a national lawsuit on behalf of over 75 police officers, federal law enforcement agents, and combat veterans who were injured by their defective duty pistols – one of the few successful product liability cases against a major firearms manufacturer in U.S. history.
In 2023, Danny left his legal practice to join the Shapiro Administration as a senior public safety official before successfully running for Sheriff.
Danny now lives in Bristol Borough with his wonderfully spectacular wife, Helen.
