Democratic Jewish Outreach Pennsylvania (DJOP) today said that David McCormick’s endorsement of ex-President Donald Trump “shows how far out of touch the Republican Senate candidate is with real Pennsylvanians.”
McCormick yesterday offered his “strong support” to Trump against President Joe Biden.
Jill Zipin, Chair of the state-wide DJOP, predicted that Pennsylvania’s voters will side with U.S Senator Bob Casey in his race against McCormick.
“They will not stand with a candidate who endorses a former President who is guilty of business fraud,” Zipin said. “They will not stand with a candidate who endorses a former President who was found liable of sexual abuse, who faces 91 indictments, who signed a tax break for millionaires and billionaires that exploded our deficit, who supports election deniers and insurrectionists, who bows down to Vladimir Putin, who abandons our allies and who appointed Supreme Court Justices who have dismantled the rights of women in our country.”
