The board members of Democratic Jewish Outreach Pennsylvania said today that they “celebrate the release of the Hamas-held hostages brutally taken on Oct. 7, 2023 and held captive for two excruciating years.”
Jill Zipin, Chair of the state-wide political action committee, said:
“We mourn the loss of those who died at the hands of Hamas while in captivity, and we pray for the return to health of the survivors of this unimaginable ordeal.
“DJOP joins with everyone of good will who fervently hopes that the safe return of the hostages and a cease fire signal an end to the bloodshed, ushering in a lasting peace for all of the people in the region.”
