The Democratic Jewish Outreach Pennsylvania (DJOP) today announced its
endorsement of Eugene DePasquale for Pennsylvania Attorney General.
Jill Zipin, Chair of the state-wide political action committee, said DePasquale’s
experience as a former State Representative and state Auditor General “makes him
uniquely qualified to serve as an effective Attorney General.” Zipin stated:
“As Auditor General Eugene DePasquale identified more than $100 million in misspent
and recoverable state funds. He brought important attention to the failures of the state’s
child abuse reporting hotline. And he worked tirelessly to ensure that state funds were
being spent honestly and effectively.
“Our next Attorney General is likely to be called on to defend the results of the 2024
election. We will need someone with Eugene DePasquale’s experience and
commitment and willingness to stand up and defend the results of our vote against
attempts to overturn it.
“The board members of DJOP are proud to announce their endorsement of Eugene
DePasquale for Attorney General of Pennsylvania.”
