The board members of Democratic Jewish Outreach Pennsylvania said today they condemn the early morning surprise attack by Palestinian militants on civilian targets in Israel.
The New York Times and Reuters report that more than 2,200 bombs have been launched from Gaza, at least 200 Israeli civilians have been killed and that Hamas terrorists are kidnapping Israeli children.
“We stand in firm solidarity with Israel in this horrifying moment on this Jewish holy day of Simchat Torah,” DJOP’s statement said. “There should be no justification for terrorism against civilians. We call on our elected officials to make clear their outrage at this unprovoked attack.”
