Shelly Waldman has been involved in politics for most of her adult life serving as a committee person and an Area Leader in Montgomery County. As Area Leader, she was instrumental in finding great candidates at all levels and getting Democrats elected. By the time she finished her tenure, the elected officials in the three municipalities that she led turned all Democratic. She is currently a committee person in Philadelphia. Shelly also spent time teaching English at Masterman in Philadelphia and working for a PA State Representative. Because of her love of travel, she has a travel business helping people plan great trips anywhere in the world.
Shelly loves spending time with her husband Bob, her sons and daughter-in -law, and most of all, her grandkids. She and Bob live in center city Philadelphia where they take advantage of all of the wonderful things the city has to offer. She is also an avid walker and reader.
Shelly is very happy to join the DJOP Board and hopes she can add to its success.
