Bob Brooks

Bob Brooks

Candidate for Congress
District 7

Bob Brooks is driven by a commitment to fighting for working families. With more than 20 years of experience as a firefighter in Bethlehem, PA, Brooks has served in nearly every role within the department. His work as a firefighter led him to become involved with the Pennsylvania Professional Fire Fighters Association, where he rose to serve as union president.

Within the union, Brooks fought for livable wages, better healthcare, and stronger benefits for all workers. He helped negotiate fair contracts, improve workplace safety, and became a leading voice in Harrisburg for working families and first responders. Brooks also helped lead the effort to expand mental health coverage for firefighters struggling with post-traumatic stress injuries, advocating on behalf of first responders at the Pennsylvania State Capitol.

Brooks has never lost sight of his values or his community, which is why he is now running for Congress in Pennsylvania’s 7th Congressional District. He is focused on lowering costs, strengthening unions, addressing the housing affordability crisis, ending gun violence, investing in public education, and fighting corruption to improve quality of life across the Lehigh Valley and Carbon County.

After a career spent serving his community and standing up for working families, Brooks is ready to bring that same commitment to Congress.
