Jewish Battleground Coalition: STATEMENT ON MARJORIE TAYLOR GREENE

The Jewish Battleground Coalition (JBC) is deeply disappointed that House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy failed to take any action against Marjorie Taylor Greene after a meeting of the GOP caucus Wednesday evening. We call upon the GOP to join with Democrats in voting to remove her from all of her committee assignments.
We believe she is unfit to serve on these committees and unfit in fact to serve in Congress. She is unworthy of the office to which she has been elected. Representative Greene has advocated murdering Democrats, believes 9/11 was an inside job, says Trump won the election, support’s Trump’s claims of voter fraud and has stated that the horrific mass school shooting in Parkland, Florida was a hoax. She in fact publicly harassed Parkland survivor David Hogg. She is a follower of QAnon and believes Jewish space lasers caused California wildfires. The GOP wants us to all “just move on” from the events of January 6 and to sweep the statements of Representative Greene under the rug. Representative Greene is a danger to her district, to the state of Georgia and to our Nation. Her racism, anti-Semitism and falsehoods have no place in the United States House of Representatives.
