Sharon Perelman is an attorney who was in private practice for 8 years specializing in the areas of estate planning, real estate and corporate law. She was President of a successful regional real estate title company based in Pittsburgh for 10 years, and currently serves as the Director of Planned Giving/Associate Foundation Director of the Jewish Community Foundation at the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh.
She served on the finance committees and the Board of Directors of the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh and the Jewish Community Center and on the boards of Temple Emanuel and Beth El Congregation. She currently serves on the National Board of the Jewish Community Legacy Project.
Sharon was a proud Delegate to the 2020 Democratic National Convention having received the highest number of votes (83,556) in the Seventeenth Congressional District of Pennsylvania. She served as a poll watcher on election day and volunteered with Fuel the Vote. Sharon’s husband Eric owns Nartak Media Group. Her daughter Andi is the VP of Digital at the Pittsburgh Penguins and her son Zack is a Senior Analyst at Dwight Capital in NYC.
