Bill Epstein, a founding member of DJOP, has more than 50 years of experience in communications and government relations in the public and private sectors. He served as Director of Communications for the Jewish Community Relations Council; as Director of Communications for the late U.S. Reps. William H Gray, III and Joshua Eilberg; as Assistant to the President for the late University of Pennsylvania President Sheldon Hackney; as Director of Government Relations for Roy F. Weston, Inc. and the Northeast Corridor of Amtrak; as Director of Communications for the 1983 election of W. Wilson Goode as Mayor of Philadelphia; and as Director of Communications for the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board and the United Food and Commercial Workers Local 1776, from which he retired in 2014.
